The theme of the encounter will be 'Slowness'. We would like to invite 8 participants of your country. These participants should be 4 boys and 4 girls, from 12 till 14 years old. A copy of the passport of every participant will be required later in the year.

By accepting the invitation, you subscribe to find four girls and four boys, 1 workshop leader and 1 welfare leader according the preconditions in the handbook (see attachment). After your confirmation, we will send you the application forms and expect you to send us back all the required information before the end of February 2012.

Among the handbook principles, we would like to point the following guidelines:

For participants:

1. The children must be minimum 12 and not yet 15 years old during the period of the Encounter.

2. The participants are not an already established group.

3. The participating countries make an effort to send 4 boys and 4 girls.

4. We ask you to pursue diversity in the background of the participants (as also discussed on the GA held in Lingen).

For the workshop leader:

1. The workshop leader has a good standard of English.

2. He/she is experienced with working with theatre and children.

3. He/she has social and artistic skills.

4. He/she is prepared to work in partnership with another artist.

5. He/she attends the preliminary meeting for workshop leaders from the 26th till the 27th of May that takes place on the location of the encounter (İzmir / Seferihisar Boarding School).

For the welfare leader:

1. The welfare leader has a working knowledge of English.

2. He/she is experienced with working with children.

Everyone should be familiar with the principles EDERED and the finale performance. The EDERED handbook should be spread among all participants and their parents, the workshop leader and the welfare leader.
